• THE FIFTH OBERNEWTYN BOOK IS OUT OMG THE END TIMES HAVE ARRIVED It's not the last one, mind you, that's still "The Sending". Coming out some time next decade, I'll wager...
• "The Sending",the fifth Obernewtyn book, is the last one (we hope!), and will (we hope again) be out October 2005. Note this date just keeps getting set forward... haha :)
• "The Winter Door", sequel to "Night Gate" is out now.

• This Way Out:Five Plays: A Collaboration by Isobelle Carmody and Steve Taylor I don't really like plays but these are quite good. Adaptions of 'Corfu', 'Lemmings' and 'Long Live The Giant!' from 'Green Monkey Dreams' as well as two new plays.
• The Red Shoes : A nice,rather sad childrens story.
• Green Monkey Dreams : A book of short stories. These are lovely if a bit similar. But short story collections are like that.
• The Gathering: From Carolyn Novello Very powerful and scary drama of a boy called Nathaniel and the supernatural forces in his new home.
• GreyLands This is interesting,a sad not quite fantasy.Australian Book Revue
• Scatterlings: the first book I read. Very good post-apocalyptic type thing.
• DreamWalker: Interesting quite well illustrated short story about intertwined dreams/art/parralel universe thingy.

• "Cat Dreamer" and "Wild Heart": I have no frigging clue, I just saw the names online :) Gateway
  1. Billy Thunder and the Nightgate (Or just "NightGate"): I haven't read this but apparently the ending is weak.

  Obernewtyn Chronicles The story of a young mutant girl trying to fulfill her destiny in a post-apocolyptic Chrysalids-like world of hate and intolerance.
  1. Obernewtyn : Very good. Atmospheric.
     
  2. The Farseekers : Quite good.
     
  3. Ashling : Good,but rather long.
  4. The Keeping Place: From Carolyn Novello Not as good as the first three books in the series,but it does provide a few more clues as too how the series will finish.Australian Book Revue

  1. DarkFall:From Hannah Wright Darkfall is good. It's more mature than Obernewtyn, and slightly dark(like a lot of her stuff) but I enjoyed it. Eidolon revue
  2. Darksong:Paraphrased Carolyn Novello Really good, mellow, answers some questions and makes way for the finale.
  3. No, I don't know about the mythical third book. I am glad I didn't start this series though :)
